ABOUT THE UNITED SCOTTISH SOCIETY

The U.S.S. was started in 1952 as a way to promote and keep alive the culture and heritage of Scotland.

Our group is made up of people from all walks of life, some from Scotland, others not. While some of us are of Scottish decent, many of us are decended from other cultures. But what brings us together is a love of Scotland.

We are all volunteers who work to keep the Scottish culture alive through many events hosted throughout the year.

Our two biggest events are our annual Robert Burns Dinner, usually held every January, and our Scottish Games and Gathering, held every Memorial Day weekend.

Membership is encouraged as a way to help us keep that goal alive. At only $20 per year, it's an affordable option in today's economy. Members receive a quarterly newsletter that keeps them up to date on USS happenings.
