The United Scottish Society was formed in 1952 and since then has pursued the goal of keeping alive the Scottish heritage found throughout California and the country. The organization has fervently pursued the desire to stimulate interest and encourage people to keep alive the traditions and activities of the Scots.

The United Scottish Society hosts Highland Games in Orange County, sponsors entertainment direct from Scotland, hosts a Robert Burns Dinner, promotes Highland Dancing and other concerts, meetings and activities that are reflective of the Scottish Culture.

The USS has members of both Scots and non-Scots heritage enjoying the benefits of memberships. The organization welcomes people of all cultural backgrounds who are interested in the Scottish heritage and want to see that heritage grow and thrive in the new world.

The USS is made up of volunteers who help to organize and run all USS activities. If you would like to volunteer, please let the USS know! We are always happy to have help in things such as the Highland Games, the USS Mailout, and other activities such as the Picnic & Children's Christmas Party.
